Chickpea Hand Finished Cotton Towel | Stone/Terracotta

Soft and absorbent cotton towel with a tactile loop-pile weave and hand-tasselled ends. Designed in Sydney Australia by Saardé and made in Turkey to a generous bath-sheet size.

The fabric is woven continuously in long lengths. Each towel is carefully cut from the connected length, leaving a small section of loose fibre at the ends to form the tassels. The tassels are knotted and finished by hand, mostly by artisan women who have passed down this skill through generations.
